thinking about house colours...what do you think?
there's something so happy and honest about simple colours singing out. And living in the countryside echoes of barns and hardworking farm buildings feels like a comfortable colour fit.
I think they look lovely! Perfect for the countryside. If you could find a third colour it would be good. Maybe just as an accent. Or a darker shade of one of the colours you have. (can you tell I run a decorating company!! lol)
Actually thinking a dirty white colour...as we have white spouting/guttering, which will stand out quite sharply against these kinds of colours...you're good - any other suggestions? it is an old Ministry of Works house - so we want it to be more cottagey, rather than so utilitarian-looking...

ReplyDeleteI think that would be excellent. Do you want me to find a colour?? also do you know what kind of paint you want to use (eg Resene/Wattyl)
